| When was the last time something good happened around Dodge City? I am not just talking about a cop who wants to donate a kidney. I am just talking about someone showing that they care about someone else. Someone that they do not know!!

| nice story, thanks for finding it TK. AS, there are some good things happening around, some even on here. When Craig B had his misfortune the DB stepped up to the plate to help. The Thanksgiving dinners. Some have contributed to different things that members here support, i.e. BB/BS. You just need to look around sometimes to see what good happens, small things don;t always show up. From a personal stand point, i still have very awesome feelings about the last ( I hope it was really the last one too) Soldiers funeral in Dodge, Kruse. The MANY MANY people from Dodge City that drove by the flagline I was in supporting us. I THANK YOU that you did. So see there are a few things, and I am sure there have been and will be many more. Sometimes we get caught up in other matters and forget to look for the positive. I am guilty of that myself.

| We went to Ashland yesterday to welcome home a man from Irak. It was a blessing to shake his hand and thank him for the job he has done. Being in the PGR we get thanked for what we do, but it is nothing in comparison to what these brave men & women are doing. May God bless and protect each and everyone of them. |

There are a lot of good things happening in Dodge and all across this country because there are still a lot of great people in this nation. People that will step up and volunteer to fight for something others don't believe in or support. People that will donate their time and/or money to help others at the drop of a hat. These type of people are what this country is about. I grew up learning to help others because my family was that way. It's too bad the news doesn't always report the great things...like the great things that happen in Iraq...but that doesn't sell media.
