Really? I would think there are a sizeable number of male laborers who are sending $ back to Mexico and don't hae their families here. if so, the school demo would be skewed to underrepresent them. Am i off base with that?

That's a good point...... so there is really no way to tell what the demographics are...

There are a lot of hispanic children in the public schools. My daughter only has 4 white kids in her class. But at least 95% of them speak english so that's a good thing!

A better demographoc would be to just look at the next 10 or 20 drivers you meet on the road. I would say it is higher than 70%.

Of course it helps to identify when they have their name plastered all over the back windsheild or a Mexican Flag hanging from thier review mirror :P

and if they aren't driving a pick up...it's usually a Dodge Intrepid or a Grand Am/grand prix....lol

No one said no one up north is DUI but if you are going to set up a checkpoint and have limited resources to do it why wouldn't you set it up in the place that will return maximum results? That just makes sense.
