| I got your point, Pootsy. You were suggesting a type of "entrapment", which a few LEO's have been known to do in years past. It can ruin an establishments business, and is not supposed to be allowed; but it happens. Just like a few LEO's spend their "off time" doing some of the same things that they arrest people for doing. One of the main problems I see in DC, is the lack of public transportation and/or establishments providing rides to customers. I would think that if a bar owner here in DC would provide a "DD or free ride home", that their business would show great gains. |

| I have a relative that has 2 DUIs. Nothing has happened to this person. Maybe 2 days in jail, but that is just not enough. Still goes to Cattleman's every night to get drunk & stoned then drives home. Why isn't this person being held accountable for past drunk driving? Why is this person still getting away with it? You talk about the police waiting outside bars; is this one on their list? No matter what I say to the police, it has to be proven. This person needs to get off the streets & won't listen to family members. Maybe this post will get the LEOs on this board to go down there & wait for drunk people to get in their cars & drive away. I'm all for catching them before they kill someone. |

I can tell you if your relative is caught again the 3rd DUI is Felony. There are harsher penalties for felony DUI. |
