Cops in Dodge City

WOOOOOOWWW!!!! have to agree with the numbers about the DUI's here in Dodge. Its off the wall compared to other cities around here. Many people may ask why? Well for the simple reason.....they are catching them outside of the clubs waiting for them. Have you guys ever watched the cops outside the clubs just watching who the next victim will be? You see it all the time. I know theres cops on this website and maybe you guys really now the answer. Man...how come they are not number one in other crimes? They are number one just because its so easy to pull someone over because they had a tag light out or any stupid reason that they can think off. and then "Have you have anything to drink tonight" and then for the simple traffic stop you are stuck with a DUI.
Next time that you guys decided to go out.... watch the FO outside the clubs at 130 or even inside to enjoy the VIEW if you know what i mean. I already know that theres going to be someone in the law enforcement comment on this.....and guess what i dont care but im saying the truth. Like they say, "Truth Hurts".

i am no cop, and i'm not a huge fan of cops either...but you're gonna take a beating for this one. If you're driving under the influence, you need to be off the road. You say "Have you guys ever watched the cops outside the clubs just watching who the next victim will be?" I'll answer then retort. No i have not...but have you sat at the ER just to watch who the next victim was?

The truth is really gonna hurt when someone takes off drunk and hits an innocent person. I don't really get your point. What truth hurts? The truth that cops catch drunk drivers? Thank goodness they do.

I wouldn't say dealing with a drunk in the middle of the night who wasn't rational enough to know not to drive would be considered "easy" but okay. Let's say it is for the sake of your argument. If they didn't get these guys off the streets then people would say "it's so easy to just stop someone that could be drunk. Why don't they do it?" Sounds to me that you might have been a "victim" and are feeling a little bitter than they didn't catch the "real bad guys" and leave you alone. Newsflash, drunk drivers are bad guys too.

Don't want a DUI? I would suggest not driving under the influence. Just a suggestion.

Man, I have read some really stupid shit on here before......but what you posted Jaylin........it boggles the mind. Somehow I fail to see where getting pulled over for something, and then getting arrested for a DUI makes one a victim. Tell you what.......I bet you if you go to a MADD meeting, or better yet oh smart one, go to a funeral of a victim from a DUI, and sob on their shoulders about how victimized you were for getting pulled over for a stupid tail light and it turned out you were drunk driving. Go ahead and weep your tears of pain about your bad experience of being in jail......I can assure you that they have plenty of tissues for you. You have to be under the influence and driving to get arrested in the first place, it doesn't matter why you got pulled over or if the whole god damn force is camped outside the bar.......if you aint driving drunk, you won't get arrested.

So does the pain of burrying your friends because some dipshit decided to get behind the wheel of a two ton missle because they were too stupid and selfish to not do it. Oh Jaylin, you are just dead wrong on this one!!! It doesn't matter if a drinking driver is stopped for a broken taillight or because a cop saw him leaving a club drunk. The key is that he was stopped and cannot make a "victim" out of himself or anyone else who may be on the street. And if it takes cops camping outside of clubs, I say more power to them. Do not get in a car and drive after drinking!!!!

As far as I'm concerned, anyone caught behind the wheel of a car should be charged with attempted murder on general principal.

I'm all for getting ripped to the tits on occasion as long as you take responsibility for your actions and bes ure you have a safe way to get home.

Drifter said it the best.....Personally I wouldn't care if the police sit in the parking lot and watch people come out. If they take one drunk driver off of the road then so be it.

The GOOD point they made though is why don't they shoot for #1 in other crime area's. Why can't they be #1 in gang arrests...(lord knows we have enough gang bangers here to probably reach that goal)...why can't we be # 1 in meth busts or #1 in deportation of illegals?

All I can say is WOW. I can't believe someone would come on here and cry "victim" for being pulled over for a broken tail light and get busted for DUI. DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE, and you won't have that problem! You get what you deserve and if you drink and drive, you deserve to sit your ass in jail.

You didn't get a dui for a simple traffic stop or because your tag light was out you got the dui because you were stupid and chose to drive drunk. I say hats off to the pd for getting the drunks off the street before they kill someone.

I'm with the rest. Don't want a DUI, don't drive after you drink. "Camping" at a bar for drunk drives just makes good sense.
