When they get the call to go in its not a call to be ignored. Police officers don't always get holidays off like most people do. They work 12 hours a day in the heat and cold to ensure our safety yet not many people give them the credit where credit is due. I may be a little biased because my husband is 1 of those men who risks his life for ungreatful people of the public. I am thankful that there are still a few people out there that recognize their courage and strength that it takes to be a police officer. And also I want to thank the men and women on the force that make it possible for me and my children to be safe. And also for sending my husband home safe to me at the end of every shift.
I see this is your first post - I just wanted to say Welcome to the board. I hope you find lots of topics that interest you.
In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot.
- Mark Twain Notebook, 1904
"A society which chooses to wage war against its police shall be forced to make peace with its criminals."
