Bates is gone but ketron is in. Which one is worse? Pat (in my opinion) would have been the better choice.

Bates. He was such a schmuck. That is what happens when a community thinks they should oust someone for someone better. Usually the "someone better" turns out to be quite the doooosh bag. Hence, Brancart to Sauer, Harris to Bates, Bush to Obama. LOL Just 77 days and you can fly thru Minneola again Chris. ;)

This is my first time to post on here, but when I see the above comment referring to Bates being worse than Harris, I had to step in and say something. I'm not saying that Bates was any good, but I happen to know that the state of the sheriff's office in Clark County was not any better off with Harris around...unless you call driving under the influence in the sheriff's vehicle better than bates...or unless you call carrying on extra marital affairs in sheriff vehicles better than Bates...or unless you call grabbing your employees by the arm and throwing them to the ground when they say something that you don't agree with better than Bates...

Personally, Ketron has been there through all of the mess with Harris and with Bates, he started as a dispatcher and worked his way up through the ranks...he's alot better off than we've been with the other two for sure...I also heard that Bates was thinking of firing everyone after the election...lets see him run the county for the next two months...course, Harris and his "head dispatcher" took it upon themselves to shred or get rid of every file and record in the sheriff's office before he left, so anything is possible this time around....
