For the record, it isn't nor ever was my intention to report it. I was merely saying I was surprised, but let it go because there were no children present. Well, DodgeBoard wouldn't be what it is if there weren't a few people on here whose sole intention it is to try to piss people off. People who are so firmly entrenched in their own opinions that no amount of conversation or debate can convince them to even consider a different point of view. You my friend, are one of those, and I shall tread more wearily in my future dealings with you, if indeed I choose to have any.

PS: For what it's worth, I'm sorry to hear about your current medical condition, and I am sorry that my joke about "It's because you voted for Obama... probably" was not taken in the good faith in which it was given. You are seemingly devoid of a sense of humor, a fact which I will also take into consideration in the extremely unlikely event that I should choose to converse with you again in the future.

I have to interject with these posts. I think yes it may have been out of line, but also you were in the wrong for not bringing it to their attention. What is some people’s opinion of a curse word and foul language can be considered normal talk in other people’s opinion. I like to think I am fairly well educated and have a good command of the English language but I was also raised in a house where there was no such thing as a curse word. I never was punished for using any kind of word or the like.

I also understand that it offends some people and if someone says something to me I am more then happy to oblige and watch what I say. So if it offended you should have said something not just sat back and complained about it. It should not matter if there were children there or not if it offended YOU. If it did offend you then you should of had no reason to come on here and post about it.

It has been my experience (through someone who deals with Ford Co. S.O.'s), depending on how you said it, that you would find yourself with a ticket some time in the near future.

Now Doc, I know a lot of the SO's and the DCPD, and I don't know of any of them that would actually do this kind of thing. From experience, I know that sometimes people just do not think of what they are doing or saying, unless someone brings it to their attention. Granted, the officers involved should have known better, and may have appreciated it if you would have brought it to their attention.

I am going to disagree that he was WRONG per say on not bringing it to their attention...especially due to the fact that they are law enforcement officials. Some people might be hesitant to correct a cop..others may enjoy it.

Spike answered it for you. They can't go around ticketing people for foul language because someone doesn't like listening to it! The ticket would just get thrown out in court anyway. Personally I would rather have them out looking for criminal instead of someone using foul language. But that's just my opinion.
