A couple of MPH or so, not the 20+MPH that he was describing. That is definitely not normal.

If you have a set of tires, other than what the original specs called for, it will affect the speedo. Look in your door jam and see what tires were original equipment. The best thing that I have found to check your speedo, is to run a measured mile at 60 mph and then calculate the actual. Of course, I am sure that the dealers would check it out, and give you a nice big bill!

Just a foot note for you, Divide 1 mile/x seconds * 3600 secs/hr = calculated miles per hour.

Set the cruise, and there you go. Do this 4-5 times and you'll have a fairly accurate reading.

All great religions, in order to escape absurdity, have to admit a dilution of agnosticism. It is only the savage, whether of the African bush or the American gospel tent, who pretends to know the will and intent of God exactly and completely.

Since this thread was started I have finally fixed the problem, quit driving it. No seriously I had to take the tailhousing off and put in the speedo drive gear. Previous owner had tranny rebuilt and the gear was wrong. Problem fixed. Thanks
