Officer Davis was shot and killed while arresting a man for starting several cars in the downtown area. The suspect fled the scene but was arrested on a farm a short time later. He was convicted of Officer Davis' murder.

This is National Law Enforcement Memorial month I believe. There are memorials going on in many areas. We even had a memorial service for fallen correctional officers last week. A very fine month to do something that will remember your loved one forever if they have given the ultimate sacrifice for public safety.
