| I think all you need to do if you are truely concerned is call your county commish. You do have those - right? Go thru the "right" channels to get the "right" response. Course first I would think that someone who knows the sausage dog owner would go talk with them and get the "right" story before ya stir up a dust storm. Make sure you are not the one that looks stupid in the end. Ya can't just rely on the media to solve your issues........ it just doesn't work like that especially with a newspaper that keeps it's head in the sand most the time. The media may not be there for ya at all. It's not really the media's forum......... Course if ya wanna hold a meeting and announce it in the paper they would be happy to take your $$ for advertisement of the meeting.............

| County Commish's won't do nothing unless it is in their favor! I say, shoot the ****ers!! |
| ||||
| Well actually my first thought was just exactly that....... surpriesed someone hasn't done it...... course then when they are spending tax payors money to investigate the shooting of 2 vicious dogs........ not THAT might be worth the Globes time..........

| I called the SO on this and all I got was the run around. They definately have the Blue Wall up on this. I agree with MIU, shoot the dogs, but here is how I'd do it. Use a pellet gun and do it slowly and painfully. Silently. Put a pellet in each of them every other day until death comes. I'll kick in $200 toward an attorney to sue the owners' pants off. Also, how can we discover who carries their insurance? Now, hide and watch. I bet the SO gives more attention to finding out who I am than they spent addressing this dangerous situation. |

| Well I still agree - put the dogs down. It's too late for them - they are vicious - but I don't think the dogs are the real problem here. It's the owners not taking responsibility for thier pets. The owners surely knew these dogs would be a problem if they got out. Any dog like that needs a fence the owners KNOW they can't get out of. I don't believe you need attack dogs at any time. Rots can be good dogs - it's the owners that seem to be the problem.
