| Lyrics to Neil Young’s “Let’s Impeach the President” Here's the Dixie Chicks' latest: DIXIE CHICKS "Not Ready To Make Nice" Forgive, sounds good Forget, I'm not sure I could They say time heals everything But I'm still waiting I'm through with doubt There's nothing left for me to figure out I've paid a price And I'll keep paying I'm not ready to make nice I'm not ready to back down I'm still mad as hell and I don't have time to go round and round and round It's too late to make it right I probably wouldn't if I could 'Cause I'm mad as hell Can't bring myself to do what it is you think I should I know you said Can't you just get over it It turned my whole world around And I kind of like it I made my bed and I sleep like a baby With no regrets and I don't mind sayin' It's a sad sad story when a mother will teach her Daughter that she ought to hate a perfect stranger And how in the world can the words that I said Send somebody so over the edge That they'd write me a letter Sayin' that I better shut up and sing Or my life will be over I'm not ready to make nice I'm not ready to back down I'm still mad as hell and I don't have time to go round and round and round It's too late to make it right I probably wouldn't if I could 'Cause I'm mad as hell Can't bring myself to do what it is you think I should I'm not ready to make nice I'm not ready to back down I'm still mad as hell and I don't have time to go round and round and round It's too late to make it right I probably wouldn't if I could 'Cause I'm mad as hell Can't bring myself to do what it is you think I should Forgive, sounds good Forget, I'm not sure I could They say time heals everything But I'm still waiting |

| Well he's not doin a very good job of it. If he wanted to praise the men and women who put thier life on the line so he can live a lifestyle you never will- he woulda done that. Don't glamourize his song by trying to say it's about the soldiers who have died to protect his right to be an ass................ it just doesn't add up. He's sellin a ticket on HIS ride and you are the first one buyin it...............

| Sarcasm doesnt work to well over the internet. I don't get how critisizing the president equals not supporting the troops.

| It's like this...when you are critical of the war and the standing president (repub or dem) when our nation is at battle and SHOULD be united you are basically giving a thought to the enemy that we are NOT united and that maybe since our country is being UNunited by the war protesters that if they KEEP fighting instead of giving up they may win. It is harder to fight someone that is united. UNITED WE STAND...divided we fall. It's ok to disagree with the president and his policies but to do it in a forum that the world can see is subversive and gets people killed. You may not think this is true but I would argue this point all day long. ESPECIALLY if the person is a person of power or fame....although Neil Young has neither of those he IS a recognizable name.

| Very true AOO. When the enemy sees the opponent fighting among themselves they step up the action sensing their foe has lost the will to fight and that victory is near. When the enemy sees a united opponent it makes them doubt their own strength and often causes them to fight among themselves. I hope these people feel good making a name for themselves at the possible cost of fellow American lives. If they were really creative they could write a song that doesn't stand to cause problems for our soldiers. Something like: Yeah our president's a dick but we're gonna kick terrorist butt none the less

| Atip of my bonnet to fellas that understood my post. I'm not sacastic......... just statin facts as I see em......... Just like others. My facts tho are not as harmful. I admit everyone is entitled to thier opinions....... it's America. I just think there are times (like now) that one's opinions must be weighed to see if they bring unity or division. In a time of conflict which would I rather have? I think the answer is rather obvious - and perhaps just to concede a point - sarcastic. I'd rather err on the side of Unity..........
