Since they, Isreal, can now fly over Iraq with ease, you can bet there will be big craters in the ground where Nuclear plants use to be in Iran.

As for the illegal immigrant situation..........I unfortunately doubt our government will do anything.

I believe my opinion is much like most Americans:

You want to come here and work, fine. You want to come make a better life for yourself, fine. You want your children to have better than you, fine. We will welcome you any day.
You want to come here and work, then get government handouts, not fine. It is sickening to think that ILLEGAL aliens can make an income equal to, or even better than, most of us and also get welfare. The government is to blame for this.
You want to speak your foriegn language, more power to you. I truly do not care what language YOU speak, makes no difference to me. That is where the line is drawn though. It is not up to me to learn your language or cater to you. You are given every opportunity to learn English, as are your children. I agree, it is a hard language to learn, but that is not my problem. It is sad that our business' and government have to post things in Spanish to accomodate you, yet most of the Latino business' here do not post things in English do they? You want to sing the National Anthem in another language, go ahead. Knock yourself out and sing it that way till you go hoarse. To re-write it to fit your cause, though, does not make it the National Anthem anymore, it makes it a crappy cover of the original.
Teach your children the culture of their homeland and heritage all you want, I think that is vital personally. This is America, a melting pot of all cultures. That is what makes our country great, but America comes first. Our flag takes priority. I will use myself as an example: I am an American first, a Kansan second, a Dodge Citian third and German last. My German heritage and culture do not take priority over the rest.
The latest protests do not show any desire to become one with this great nation, they show a defiance that smacks of indifferance and dis-respect. It is like walking into a hosts house then telling them their decor sucks. They ask you to bring a covered dish and you demand that THEY change the menu to fit your dish.
