| Nagin Wins Election...ugh New Orleans voted this guy BACK into office??? I guess they do want a chocolate city....Well, they get what they deserve for voting this guy back into office. This is about as bad as Marion Barry getting elected after the crack bust....fools. Business as usual in New Orleans.

| The "Electoral College" should be used in all elections. The story about the Pied Piper clearly shows that the majority will willingly follow and fall.

| He only won by 6000 votes. He lost quite a few black votes but gained white ones............. .Looks like the folks have spoken. I listened to his acceptance speach........... very good and out of the 2 candidates - he woulda been my choice to. His hands have been tied - he's the ONLY one to step up and admit his mistakes. I think his biggest mistake was trustin in others......... by his speach last night I believe that game is over for him. I think (and hope) he goes thru and kicks butt of the Gov of that state.... she holds the reighns to the $$ controled by a non govt committe........ so WHO's the slimey one????????? Clearly it's gotta be Katherine......... seen her new office that got refurbished while folks were still swimmin in NO??????????

| Kinda like voting for the lesser of three evils? Besides, not everybody is back in NO that intends to go back yet. Perhaps the election would have been different if the electorate was different. If there's one thing I want him to have learned from this whole mess, it's that he shouldn't blame others for his own/his governor's mistakes. The feds made some mistakes, admittedly, but the major mistakes were made by the gov of Louisiana and the mayor, himself.

| Just another reason why I have no pity or sympathy for that cesspool of a city. Probably won because those who would have voted against him are dead due to his in-actions.
