Well get ready cause Nevada just legalized pot - I heard on the radio this afternoon. Altho tag has been taken out of the recess period cause it's too dangerous.........

I kinda feel like Weezie (duh)- take the homeboy outta the mix - let em peddle somethin else. If wacky weed were available at a comparable price to booze - perhaps the crack would never have become an issue - crack heads head for the bottle when they can't buy the rock. A high is a high when you are just driftin. It would bring in lots of revenue - this idea has been tossed around for years. There are way too many inmates that are there for dope charges - not dealin charges - just dope (persoanl use amount) We don't have room for the ones that plead out. Dopers catch the chain - rapests and murders plea bargin out -

We just saved a bag of saline here in Texas - the guy killed himself the moring of his date with the needle. Course his accomplice pleaded out, testified against him and got probation......... that sound fair to you?

Yep... anything to access is bad for you....just like for breakfast I had a whole plate full of colesterol...
The thing about pot... and booze for that matter...and tobacco ... been around for eons.... from watching the HISTORY channel....love it....
Beer and wine was "invented" due to necessity... seems back in ancient times, the drinking water was so full of bacteria and yuckies that they ALL,including children were given the fermented juice...sence it killed the little nasties....
Soldiers especially were given rations..... also soldiers in the most recent past wars were given a ration of cigarettes....( dont know bout booze) and as I understand ....in Viet Nam..(hubby was there x 2) weed was abundant and freely smoked and also not frowned on by the top dogs..... Hell they needed something to calm them down before they went out to be gutted....so if governments turn a blind eye during war situations.... seems like we are at war now in this country... yes empty out the prisons of ones that only used....make it legal for sale... then we can have more room for the rapists , child molesters, murderers,PEDOPHILES..... CHILD PORN shitheads...
Actually tobacco and pot are weeds.... grown naturally and any time you go messin with, chemically altering something( like tobacco) then it becomes a danger .... I really dont think tobacco ....back in the day.... was too bad til the companies started adding a few little addictive agents....
I do think most smokers ....nowadays.... try to be courtious of the non smokers .... and we stay in the smoking areas.... hellsbells.... no need to ban it from resturants and bars..... Like someone said..... a study is goverened by whomever is supporting the study...

Can you say "one-term governor" for the governor that would sign this bill into law. Not to mention the last term for the representatives and senators who vote for it.

That's because I weigh each situation on its own merits and apply logic and reason.

I don't just pick one mindset for each and every situation and hope I can make it work.

Having strong convictions on a subject and willing to make a stand for them, hmm, if that makes me stupid, I will proudly say that I am stupid. It sure beats the alternative, being somebody like you that can take up the wrong side of an issue with no facts to back you up and want the government to pass laws to squash individual rights.

I've seen the reports and had first-hand observations.

You refuse to believe the facts that are overwhelmingly presented because you WANT something else to be true. Maybe that doesn't make you stupid but it does make you look deluded.
