Cuz way back when somebunny's mama told 'em they were their brothers' keepers. I think all of us have at least a tiny bit (well, OK, not ALL of us) of a Robin Hood complex....steal (tax) from the rich and give to the poor. The only thing is, they've forgotten there are working poor right here in our country who are paying the tax money they throw to underdeveloped countries that don't even like us! I wonder how that feels - to actually take money from someone you really don't like at all. Just once, I'd like the chance to find out!

I do agree with you, the good 'ol U.S.A. has no business being a member of the U.N. Many years ago it was a good deal but not any more! The U.N. has become so liberal and lopsided that it turns my stomach!

I wish the U.S. would close the the doors and have some other country host the U.N. but that would be a hugh loss in revenue. To much money made on the U.N. being here in the U.S.A.!

You’re too kind. It’s more like socialist /communist and I’ve wanted to see US out for the last 15 or 20 years. The UN makes a lot of talk but can’t back up anything. Instead they just set on their butts and wring their hands. We pay the biggest share of everything and that isn’t enough so they want to bypass our Congressional oversight and tax us directly. And we still end up doing all the dirty work that needs done no matter how unpopular it is.
