Yeah, CKY, I saw the quotes, too. But I wasn't sure if you knew the proper usage of quotes, so I ignored them. Some people put all sorts of stuff in quotation marks.

Also, there were quotation marks in quotation marks, open quotation marks with no closing quotes and vice versa. Pretty much a complete mess of quotation marks.

then it's a quote. it's not my fault if you have learning problems. the name EDDIE IZZARD at the end should have been a clue. don't become a detective

The problem is that your post looked a lot like this: "word word word word. "more words and more "words" and yet more words. More words and sentences to make some paragraphs."

You will notice that there is no rhyme or reason to the posting of your quotation marks. The first sentece in my example had an open quotation mark but no closing quotation mark at the end of the sentence. Then, on the next sentence you opend another quote without closing the quote from the previous sentence.

I have no learning problems I also have no reading problems. I would say that you are the one that had learning problems in English when they were going over sentence structure, puncuation and the proper use of quotation marks.


As far as Eddie Izzard, I've never heard of him and if what you wrote is from him. I will probably never hear of him as I don't see any humor in what you quoted or tried to quote.

right, there are qoutes within the quote. but who cares? if you can't figure out that EVEN if that is the case...and this isn't a formal writing assessment....and something has ".." - Jo Blow THEN ITS A QUOTE

As far as my writing I scored an 11/12 on the ACT writing assessment, and in the advanced category on the Kansas Writing Assessment. For all you know I'm an English teacher. I am fully aware that it wasn't quoted correctly, but do I care? No. I would assume you could figure it out. Do I give you guys to much credit too begin with?

You've never heard of Eddie Izzard?? BIG surprise, not because he's not famous (because he is), I just doubt you venture far from the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. I'll try to post more Larry the Cable Guy since it's a little more your speed.
