| So...what's all the "BUZZ" about Izzard? HE HE. Wow..this started out as just a ? about bee's and turned into a beehive....sheeesh. If nothing else now I know who Izzard is. Might try to find some of his stuff on I-tunes. Love comedy. (even the Blue Collar Comedy Tour) =) Personally I LOVE Mind of Mencia.....on Com Central.

I'm not really into the blue collar comedy, although Ron White can be funny at times. I'm more into Carlos Mencia, Jim Norton, Bob Kelly, Dane Cook, Bill Burr and a little Rodney Carrington.

| Speaking of Carlos Mencia. I understand he will be in Wichita, KS next month. At least that is what he schedule said on last nights show. I would love to go but since it is in the middle of the week and school will be back in session it is doubtful (I gotta get back on a schedule just as does my son). Anyway I mention it incase any of the rest of you have a chance to get out and see him. ![]() Last edited by beentheredonethat; 08-06-2006 at 05:16 PM. |

| I'm going to see Jim Norton in Addison, TX (Dallas) on 9/2! He has been on the Tonight show several times, a couple of HBO stand-up specials and is currently on Lucky Louie on HBO, as well as daily on the Opie & Anthony show on XM.

Maybe, you just have a hard time admitting when you f#*ked up and are wrong. To be fair, I expected no less of you than to make it anybody else's fault that they couldn't understand your disasterous use of quotation marks than to admit your own shortcomings. Far be it for anybody else who has an understanding of the english language and a more than marginal understanding of punctuation to have any problems with your post.

Here is the problem: It's an informal post. is this sentence still legible without the first letter being capitalized? does it confuse you? I hope not. the same goes for quotations. whether it's done properly or not I don't care. As long as a half-wit can read it I'm happy. The bad news is this board is full of smaller-fraction-wits who never learned to think outside their little (and I do mean little) box of a brain. Here we go again with an example: "..." - Jo Blow = quote "..."..."" - Eddie Izzard = quote ANY amount of words, represented above by elipses for the mentally challenged posters, surrounded by quotation marks and with a name trailing at end separated by a dash IS A QUOTE. Not so hard eh? Hey, is this as easy as Hooked On Phonics? I'm asking because I'm sure you were and are a customer. Marginal is a good word for your ability, you're right there on the "held back a grade" line. The Izzard quote was from a transcript, which used quotes to denote when Izzard was quoting- as it should. When I quoted the transcript I copied it, pasted it, put quotation marks around it and added " - Eddie Izzard" at the end. Do I care it was not perfect? No. Should a moron be able to read this without problem? Yes. So which of you complained that you couldn't read it? Please raise your hand and I'll hand out signs for you to wear.
