This is goin on in Houston............. anywhere else that anyone knows of?

I'll let ya guess how many of the employees are legal...... as you can see the one they talked to needed a translation of her words. This is a good example of how big companies avoid providing benefits and get the cheap labor. I know when ya sign up for a union (which they have formed thier own) voting goes with it. Good example of how many illegal voters we really got.

I really have no idea what you are trying to say. It almost looks like that you are saying if an illegal joins a union he would be able to vote for governor or President or something...I know that you are more intelligent than that.

As a member of a union, I can tell you that you do vote, within the union, on union matters. That is the only voting, the union membership doesn't allow you to vote in general elections.

There are many different unions, I can't vouch for them all. My union might make a suggestion, but when you go in the general election booth, you vote for who you want. The union isn't making the selection, I am.

The point I was making was that just because you belong to a union doesn't mean you automatically get to vote in general elections.



By the way lurker...I kinda recognize your new avatar from old cartoons I used to watch, but I can't remember the name of that dog. I want to say he was very smart, maybe a professor? I think he used to be on with Rocky and Bullwinkle, clue me in and tell me his name.

Pretty much so.......... As far as voting goes - if ya don't have a union......the LULAC tells ya who to vote for.

I meant that it's so easy to registar to vote...... Union card is just one more form of ID that makes illegals blend into the community....... I know they can buy ID.... stolen ID........ but this is something that seems is up for sale now....... Illegals have thier own friggin union, stricking against those that gave them jobs, going to court to prove a point........ yeah they sure are happy to be here, they sure are making it easier for those lookin for jobs, We sure are lucky to have them!!!!.............

My Union sent people down to Houston to help out w/ logisitics for the strike.
I can tell you, "Voting" is at the end of the list of things these people are working for.
A Union card wouldn't afford them a right to vote in any election, except their Unions.
As for big companies avoid providing benefits and get the cheap labor, absolutely..

They rake in the huge profits, you flip the bill..

I don't think being unwlling to learn English makes a person "illegal"..
