Now to your remarks...are you saying that it is perfectly fine to have the feelings and display signage that shows that you piss on America? If you have those feelings and display them proudly on your car, do you think you are free from any remarks or feelings to the contrary?

Nobody forced you, or the person displaying the sign, to come to America to seek a better life. If you are living in America and have a better life than you did from wherever you came from, I would think that you would love America for allowing you to have that better life. If your feelings are piss on America and your homeland is so great, then you shouldn't have a problem that this veteran who loves his country and his flag invites you to get the hell out of America and go live someplace else.

I’ve said this before, if someone sneaks into this country illegally (or any country for that matter) learn the language and keep a low profile. If you ain’t being noticed folks won’t be upset with you. Putting a “Piss on America” sticker on you car ain’t keeping a low profile. It ain’t real smart if you’re here legal either. Even a P on Ford or Chevy sticker will get you in a fight sometimes.

You are correct, there is nothing wrong with calling out someone that is making derogatory comments about something that you hold dear to your heart. Where the line is crossed is when the response then takes the rights of the other person away. Much like a person screaming at you and you punch them in the face. The line was crossed when the person's face impacted your fist.

What I was addressing was the unlawful reaction to insult of the original decal on the car. Also, the tone becomes nothing less than standing outside the jailhouse (parked car) and the group stirring up talk of a public lynching (shin kicking, car keying and a$$ abuse). But what makes you assume that the person displaying the decal is in this country illegally. Because they are Hispanic looking? What about those people that look Italian? How about that Eva Longoria? She looks Hispanic and she is an American.

I am old enough to remember many Americans displaying symbols defying America in the 60's and 70's, and they met the long handle of a few axe handles and police batons (Chicago Eight), but that didn't make it right even then.

Hmmm, I wonder what would have happened if the Native American Indians had put up a 700 mile fence around Kansas . . .

I didn't say they were illegal. If you think that I implied that, I am sorry, that isn't what I wanted. I implied they were an immigrant, and that they came to America for a better life than what they had in their home country, be it Mexico, Guatamala, or the Dominican Republic. Where they came from isn't that important. They could have been Irish or Italian or Polish for all I care.

What pissed me off was that they chose to come here for a better life then they have the attitude that they display with their decal of piss-on America. That is just wrong! I would assume they have have a better life here than they had at home, otherwise why would they be here. If their life is better, don't they owe that better life to America? They should be just as proud or even more proud that America has given them what they couldn't get at home.

While we are on the "bitchin' wagon" here, it aggravates me that they all fly the Mexican flag or have them plastered all over everything. This is AMERICA, and when in America you fly the AMERICAN FLAG!! As Bubba says, they come over here and take all the freebies, then they act like we should cater to them. Blaring "Mariachi" music, Mexican flags on the tags and bumpers, dark-tinted windows, tires hanging out of the fenders, and the car only 1 inch off the ground. Then they don't stop at stop signs, pass in no-passing zones, whip j-turns everywhere, park in Handicap Parking spaces, let their kids run wild and tear crap up, buy food with WIC coupons or food stamps, buy CD's and Budweiser with hundred dollar bills, drive new Cadillac Escalades, and have all their kids on FREE LUNCHES at the schools! Of course they go to the Ford County Health Dept, hospital emergency room for a cold---then don't pay, don't bother to get car insurance or a driver's license, then if they have an accident---they run or drive off. And then, they hunt game year around (illegally), take over Wright Park, send out millions of dollars a year from the post office to Mexico, park their cars on the front yard, block all the aisles at Walmart and the grocery, shoplift like crazy, and then bitch that we are "predjudiced" because they are a "minority"!! Throw in the skyrocketing crime rate, the fights at the bars, the gangs, drugs, pit bulls, goats, chickens, and the trashy attitude, and WE GOT A HELLUVA MESS HERE!!!

I will admit that there are some honest, hardworking "hispanics", and I have no problem with them. Except they should be here LEGALLY!!

and by the way.....cars are keyed for alot less..... cars are usually one of a persons more expensive purchases ....so if there is a sticker that disses a whole country....you may want to reconsider placing it on your car....

U said it would be an invitation to do that....as if it would be justified. Like speed racer said...even though the ODDS are that person has immigrated they MAY be an citizen just like you and I. It pisses me off also but in this country people have the right to voice their dissent. No one advocates keying Kerry's car when he stands on the podium in front of the world and calls our soldiers dumb. Seeing things like that incenses me beyond belief and depending on the mood I am in I would possibly confront the person ( I love confrontation) but I would never advocate keying a car. I have had my car keyed (god bless those that love recruiters) and it SUCKS. Just like the idiots that park in handicapped or the ones that think their car is so special they have to park in 3 parking places...while that pisses me...and most people off...it still doesn't warrant a keying.
