Today in lecture my british history professor had told us about the elections following WWII in England. He said Churchill had said that a vote for the labour party was a vote for bolshevism. The closest quote i have found in 10 minutes of search was, "no truth that you can vote Labour or Liberal without voting against me."

sounds awfully similar to "a vote for the democrats is a vote for terrorism"

in the british case the labour party won majority and the democrats won the majority here in the U.S.

funny how things work out against you.

AOO don't mind I'm sure........... he loves this stuff........ It was just an observation...... very similar to what you did and what you heard in your british class.................. Pullleeeeeze - my own boys could spin a story better than that one if they wanted to make a point....... christ they coulda topped that at age 6 or 7 - I was just thinkin after all pissin matches goin on that perhaps ya'll would give it a rest................ sorry some days - aggitators bot republican and democrat.......... just irritate the hell outta me. It's depressing to think about the downward spiral that England's been in since WWII.

I'm sure your comments were as "tongue in cheek" as mine...lol. I hold no grudges nor do I take anything personal. I will debate with you one day and drink a beer with you the next. It's all business...nothing personal!

An occassional stab, poke, lance, slice is O.K. Wordy does it all the time...it's stirring the pot...it's fun! That is what keeps me coming back.
