ET broadcasters don't provide local information for their listeners. Too many terrestrial broadcasters rely on feeds and are marginally producing their own content.

I listen to the radio for local information and even our local merchants' promotions. Talented audio-only copywriters help create entertaining commercials but they are very rare out here.

I have no idea what an ET broadcaster is, as far as listening to local ads and promotions, you are one of the few. Myself and most people I know listen to the radio for the music, not the ads or the lousy DJ talking all over the beginning of the song.
