Healthcare is available.... Since when do people 'deserve' healthcare. Is it a right?

It's just a neccessity - it's what a civilized society does.

The constitution is not the end all of what you do - I see it as minimum requirements - the constitution is what minimally you should expect and deserve.

There is no crime in wanting better as a society. Healthcare for all is not asking for a nuclear warhead, folks don't wake up and say - I want to be chronically ill and poor. Besides keeping folks healthy is cheaper than trying to keep up with the chronic illnesses in crisis........... you will never convince me otherwise cause even the money sucking insurance companies know that. It's call preventative medicine - your insurance companies encourage it.

All I asked was is it a right? No one said anything about wanting a better society....People have the right to be responsible for themselves. Who's responsibility is it for healthcare? Is it the individual or is it the gov't..(which is other people's money)??

Tyhe government is the peoples money, not other peoples money. The coffers are not made up of entirely property and income taxes. We are taxed on everything. It is a few who actually do not pay a penny at all for their entire lives. While there are those who abuse the system, you do not penalize those who do not. You tighten up the system so it does not get abused. Our government obviously does not want to tighten it up or they would have already.
It is our government's responsibility to look after the safety of it's people. We have law enforcement and the military as part of that. The government holds us responsible for the welfare and safety of our children. You have to put your child in school, which is why it is paid for by the government. If you do not take care of your child's health you are also responsible. If the government is going to hold you responsible it has to give you the resources in which to do it. Hell, they are banning smoking because of concern for the health of it's people so they already dictate what to do.
I do not think all healthcare should be the responsibility of the government but it is in the government's best interest to have a healthy population. If my child had cancer and I could in no way afford to pay for treatment.......should my child die or suffer? Should I suffer or die? Should you? It is not like our government can't afford it.

"gain sharing under capitation contracting....." I can see a market for Doctors who specialize in capitation in muslime countries.

No more of a monopoly than any company that sells gasoline. Can you say ExxonMobil or Shell Oil?
