I was able to start work with my company and enroll in the 401k plan and watch my 6% company match in company stock. I watched my company stock go from $30 per share down to almost $1 per share. All the while my company paid it's CEO a million dollars, watched the CEO sell off most of the company assets, and receive multi-million dollar bonuses for doing such a good job at selling the assets. All was not lost though as the stock price has bounce back to a whopping $4.50!

I don't have a college degree, and I bet that I could have run the company into the ground for a lot less than a million dollars a year and multi-million dollar bonuses. I would have done it for 60% less money.
LOL...You could have probably done it and saved them a mil or two. My question to you is this....If you disagree with the way your company does business and think their leadership has swindled you...why do you still work there? Do you still invest in their 401K?

Where I work is one of the assets that were sold, just waiting for the government regulation to approve the sale and make it final. The 401k changed shortly after the big downward spiral in stock prices, and a class-action lawsuit, so the company match is now no longer in company stock. I have also sold all the company stock that I owned.

Not enough attention was paid to the doings of the Green brothers.

SEC Info - Aquila Inc - S-4 - On 12/3/01 - EX-99.29

Can Victory Electric grow quickly enough to handle the added transactions?

Who is responsible for all of the ice storm costs?

Apparently all of us. I noticed my Dec gas bill was over double, by 100 dollars. It said I was using over twice the gas I used last year. I found that odd since there are less people living here and my thermostat is set at 65 and have closed the vents in most of my house, including the basement since nobody is using it. Every person I have talked to said the same thing, their gas bills were higher by about 100 dollars. Anybody else having this problem?

Dutch, I was told by a furnace guy many years ago that closing off to many vents and reducing the amount of area heated can cause the furnace to not cycle correctly. I have no idea how much of an impact it would have on the bill.

Madam Guvernater asked FEMA to pay for 75% of the cost of rebuilding the powerlines. It's my understanding that Victory's purchase contract stipulates that they will pay for 25% of any storm damages incurred while waiting for KCC approval.

I doubt that any press release will ever state how those funds are divided.

You are correct Highway, the flow of air has to be right. I had the guy who fixed my furnace this summer close off what vents needed to be closed and how to keep the correct air flow going. Thank you though for the input.
