But yet you will shop like a mad man at Walmart. Of every dollar you spend buying something that is made in China a good chunk of that goes to support their military. You will also buy beef/pork/chicken that is processed by illegals in packing plants.....but yet you get riled about citgo gas....hmmmm. How much do you think the Iranian gov't makes of the oil it sells to the U.S.? What do you think happens to that money? What companies use oil from Iran?

I don't camp out to go to walmart - and as long as thier is a choice of who ya buy from - I'll use it -

I'm not a farmer I can't raise my own meat, I'm not a hunter and I don't like wild game anyway - Sometimes ya have to just buy what available - kinda like sleepin withthe devil........... sometimes ya just gotta do it

When it comes to gas companies I actually do have a choice I can make - so I choose to buy from any comapny other than Citgo........... Now - AOO what was your question?????

You do have a choice to not buy products made in China, you have to go a little out of your way and be inconvienenced a little but you can do it. The point I'm trying to make is that since you got some email saying don't go to CITGO you don't go. That's easy but if you REALLY want to do something don't buy chinese products.

If I made good US Army money still - like I used to........ maybe I could afford to do that. Gas is the same price for the most part........... that's where my choice comes in............. I can afford to choose.

Ya know tho - you would be hard pressed to not find the same China made products at the PX.............. PX's aren't US made either.......... so tell me oh wise one........... where do you shop in Dodge?????? And where do you shop that ONLY carries US made products at an affordable price?

I'm not made of money but like I said gasoline is pretty much the same price - so my choice IS affordable and yes I do think it helps the country NOT to endorse Chavez outright!

I never said I carried that banner of "boycott"...lol. I'll leave that to you activists... PX carries chinese products...hell, the giveouts we get, mousepads, pens etc, all made in China. I didn't say I boycotted anything. (except maybe Montanna Mike's..lol) I buy stuff at Walmart and everywhere else. We have come full circle though because originally I mentioned globalization helped the consumer and you admit that stuff in the U.S. is reletively unaffordable....compared to that overseas...and the stuff that is affordable is 2nd rate.. IE most American Cars...I try to buy the best item for the best price despite where it is made because the bottom line is...like HWY said you can't hide from it...one way or another your money is going to go somewhere you don't like.
