| Proof that right wingers are the joke. At least the Daily Show uses a live audience and deals with live laughs. This thing has a laugh track. But I guess GOOD right wingers need someone to tell them when they can do something. Even if it's just as simple as when to laugh. Enjoy your Kool Aid.

| I can't believe that either side is actually watching newscasts pattererned after Saturday Night Live - and actually calling it news. I guess it's all in the delivery - are we now so desperate that we need serious news delivered in comedy format? I have seen 1/2 hour and I really thought it was an effort to put some humor in. Truth is tho if it wasn't so sad - it might be funny........ I just like the evening news - whose ever it is.

| I agree TexKan. I just don't understand these type of entertainment? Making fun of the left and the right is making fun of America too me, and that I don't find amusing at all. We have enough problems with a society that has no respect for it's country. It's a sick society we live in for sure.

| Yes they did - they were all entertainment shows. None of your references are journalists. I don't have anything against the show - just call it what it is - entertainment news. Pure and simple - it's not serious news reporting and shouldn't be portrayed as such. You are right tho - in this country we can listen to whatever we want - there is room for all. I think it's sad tho when folks actually use this as news and it's obvious some do. It's a nice way to find some humor in the news tho. Nothing wrong with that -

| Well I see a difference in the quality of the humor I guess. Laughing at someone that mistakenly fell off the house hanging lights can be funny. Laughing at someone that mistakenly runs over their dog is just sick. I think timing has a good deal to do with acceptable humor. Phelps claiming God hates Fags is laughable, him showing up to say it during a funeral is pure evil. America has a lot of problems with how other country's now think about America, thanks mostly, in my opinion, to how we have polarized ourselves through shameless political wars. There is nothing funny about that.
