| What is going on? I am wondering if anybody else is noticing what is going on here. I have noticed the past couple of weeks that people are getting pretty bitchy in their posts. There has been alienating of long standing members. I am curious to know, is it my imagination or have others noticed this too?     |

| I think some people have just been getting, or letting, things get to personal. It is hard to say something tongue in cheek when writing it, and sometimes it comes across as confrontational or nasty. Most of the nastiness has come from political posts, or taking things out of context. I admit I am as dumb as a bag of rocks on most things. I refuse to take the time to dig up things to make my opinion seem more valid. If someone calls me on the carpet for something I said in a factual way, and shows me I was wrong, so be it. I was wrong then. Some posters just won't let things die and have to keep bringing up jabs at each other........well, if you do not like what someone says to you or think they are being immature, do what you would normally do and tell them to piss off and have a nice day. Me, I have learned to not sweat the petty things.......but instead to pet the sweaty things. Makes life more fun that way.

| I've noticed it too, but after spring comes, maybe things will change. I agree - cabin fever. I, for one, read the posts for humor, education and just to chat with friends. I haven't trashed anyone so far - well, except those two.....but they deserved it...... In the meantime, whilst we wait for everybody to dig back out of the snow bank, have one on me!!!
