Very good post! I'm sure the employees at NASA would have also liked to be able to be armed as well.

I know every April round my birthday......... folks go off the deep end. I'm so sick of it. I just wait each year to see what folks are gonna do next. The rest of us are so busy having damn memorial services for past events that we fail to see that every year at this time someone goes bat shit crazy. Maybe we should arm ourselves in April............ maybe that wouldn't be offesnsive.

My question is................... how long should we wait? What is a cooling off period? I know if the advocates of gun carry act first........ it's gonna be a knee jerk action called out by those who don't want guns at all. If the advocates of gun control act first it's gonna be viewed as the same thing by those that want guns. It's a sturggle whenever you do it but truth is no matter which side you lean to - it needs to be addressed and it needs to be now before anymore folks lose thier lives cause they were restricted from protecting themselves or lose thier lives because the gun laws are too lenient.

The real sadness is this fella slipped thru all the cracks that were voted in to protect his "rights". The fella in Houston didn't show the obvious signs of mental illness that Cho did. Bad things are gonna happen at times no matter what the law is or isn't. I still lean to the side that says........... give me a fightin chance!

Cho didn't kill cause he could get a gun................. He killed cause he was bat shit crazy and no one could do anything about it. The gun issue would just be meeting fire with fire. That's not a bad thing in my eyes.

I saw this a couple nights ago and it finally showed up on YouTube. If you think that Democrats in Congress sponsor gun control bills that are well thought out and meaningful you need to see this.

Voted? Texie, this is about a bill that she sponsored! The woman wants to outlaw stuff and she doesn’t even know what it is! (Can I call that knee-jerk?)

That’s Congresswoman Carolyn McCarthy (D), Long Island, New York. Her husband was killed in that Long Island train massacre several years ago. She ran on the single issue of gun control.

For anyone that doesn’t know what a barrel shroud is, it’s just a heat shield over the barrel.

It also doubles as the forward gripping point on the weapon.

It's just easier to approach that woman like that, ain't it, Texie - just say she's a two-bagger and don't pay her no nevermind!
