OK, you obviously don't get out if you actually think there isn't a liberal lean in news. I am not even talking the likes of CNN, MSNBC or FNC because those three stopped being news channels years ago and are just newstalk with alot of opinion. I am talking Rathergate, where a news agency deliberatly put forth forged documents to smear a republican. Can you find a republican equal to that? Bias also has to do with how often a news is reported when compared to others. Rep Foley was beaten to death and then had his body hanged on Republicans by the media, forgetting that the dems held onto the info, forgetting that(and dramatically under reporting) that a prominant Democrat Congressman Franks in Massachusetts ran a boy sex ring out of his basement and still remained in office. I am sure some of the facts that are brought up are news to you as the regular news does a disservice to all.

The reality is there are no news outlets anymore. It's all about who can come up with the story that will scare people the most today. If you scare them they will read or view your news. More readers or viewers of your news means that you have better ratings and can start charging more to advertisers. More dollars from advertisers means a bigger bottom line for your news company. As lurker so often likes to say...."follow the money."

Where are your quotes regarding that crap? I seriously can't believe anyone is defending Bush anymore. There are some good Republicans out there, but Bush is not one of them. My wife, who voted for Bush both times, doesn't understand why he hasn't been impeached yet. This guy's presidency is a complete disaster.

Are you kidding me?? Maybe what is wrong with Bush's presidency is the fact that everyone that is democrat will not support him one iota, except after a tragedy like 911. Then, because they (dems) see such a support for him after that, they start backpeddeling and badmouthing him to drum up support for dems. Unfortunately, there are those that tend to buy in to what some democrats are lying about. Now, some dems that are in higher rank, are outright backstabbing the president (Pelosi). Really scares me to think that there might be another woman in a high ranking political position that would scoff at policy and procedure and try to run this nation further into the ground. I am not much into politics, as the same happens when there is a democratic pres, but this is the reason we are failing as a country (BAD POLITICS).
