There is a young hispanic male who is 12 years old, and I think is a good soul!
But something happened today that just blows my mind! He brought another young hispanic male who is 61/2 years old, over to my home. I will call the older one, "mike" and the young one "pete"! Mike and I were talking, and pete began going from room to room, until I stopped him. I told pete to get back in the living room and sit down. Mike and I continued to talk, and pete got back up and went over to where I have CD's that are movies and games. I watched pete who went over to the CD's, and he turned his back to us, and I saw him putting CD's under his shirt and shorts. To say that I was shocked does not say enough about how I really felt! I went over to him, and asked him what he was doing? He said nothing, and tried to look as innocent as he could be. I told him to lift his shirt, and he then told me that he just took thes 3 CD's to look at them. Well, I knew that he was not telling me the truth, and I asked him why he came to my home to steal things. Of course there was no answer at all. I asked mike, if he brought this kid over to my home to steal things for him, and mike said no! I don't know what to believe! But just about one week ago, I saw a hispanic female who was visiting next door to us, get into her truck, and pull back to the curb in from of our home, and get out and walk back to my car and break the hood ornament off of my car! So, in this last two weeks, I have neighbors visitors vandalize my car, and then have a six1/2 year old come into my home and try to steal whatever he could get his hands on. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON? How does this very young hispanic male even know how to steal? GEEZE folks! And just now, I get a call from where I have my motor home stored and someone cut the locks on 7 or so storage buildings and now I have to go down and see what was stolen! What happened, did I fall asleep and wake up in some other dimension? This is just crazy! What the hell are the parents teaching these young young males to do? How come this city has so much crime, and so little is being done about it? Where are the police "patrols" at? This is just nuts! After being vandalized so many times, and having so little done, I have to ask what is NOT being done to stop this by those who SHOULD be doing this, and WHY NOT?

I feel your pain. It's a shame, I know. The world has changed. People have changed.

I moved to the country, away from others, put up a security system surveillance cameras, the whole nine yards.

The world has changed; Instead of live and let live, It's take or be taken.

If you want to keep your stuff, the only thing you can do is get out and get smart. These are very sad times. I feel your pain, buddy.

I just got back from the storage facility where dad and I keep the RV stored. Dad and I had gotten pretty much fed up with waiting for the sherriffs to get there.

We got a call from the storage facility owner that the sherriffs were there. So I went, the deputy took a statement. He also took a few photos of the interior damage.

I'm annoyed, the owner of the facility had no security precautions. The slide locks that we locked up with a padlock were easily disaaaembled with a bolt cutter. He has no security cameras to catch vandals and thieves.

With such a glaring lack of security, he has the nerve to charge his customers $95 a month when other storage facilities charge half that and have gated areas or truly secure storage bays.

Its pathetic greed coupled with deplorable people and a law enforcement force made impotent by laws that protect criminals more than citizens.

To top it all off...they told me they can't do fingerprinting because of the humidity level.

I'm developing a new motto. IAB, Its all Bullshit.

I'm just pissed.

Humidity level???? Oh puleeze.................. they fingerprint dust all the time down here and we live in far more humidity than you'll ever see.

These stories are just so sad! Ya really need to know who's in your house tho. That's just common sense. Why would you let someone in that you feel you need to keep an eye on? Visit on the porch!

Holy God! What's going on down there? When I was there - most of the time we didn't lock our house...we didn't lock our cars...the churches never locked. It was small and a very laid back way of life...but it was safe. I'll miss that.
