Closed Thread?

What is going on? I came back to check on the one thread that has kept my attention constantly on the board for the last couple days and it's closed? I know there was a little bashing going on, but there were also some good points and it's only because people feel so strongly about the subject, so on the behest of two people who are tired of reading a thread they didn't even have to keep reading it gets closed? So much for a free-speech forum it's a sad day for dodgeboard.com

It's not like that thread broke down into nothing but a name calling session, if you read the last couple of posts it was actually talking about how none of this stuff on the forum was being taken personally and both sides made some really good points so why then was it closed it seemed like a pretty popular thread to me.

It's no big deal to me there are plenty of other threads I can terrorize, but I was rather enjoying that one. Oh and in case you haven't figured it out I was intentionally trying to sound "melodromatic" as I said in that last thread nothing on this board is ever personal or taken very seriously for me and anybody who knows me knows I love to visit the dodgeboard I just like to be a bit of a smarta$$ from time-to-time.

On another note how about we create a thread specifically for bashing lol. If so many of our posts break down into the name calling perhaps we wouldn't have to close so many good threads if they had a place to take it. That way people would know going in what it is about.

Sounds like a good idea...LOL!

Maybe title it "Come join the bashing fest"....then at least admin wont close it for going off-topic when it turns into a bashing-fast.....LOL!!

I don't think Admin closed the thread cause I was one of the two - you give me far too much credit!! I just posted what I thought - isn't that what we do here? If you really enjoyed the diversion from real conversation and would rather have biogtry and name calling ask her to reopen it. I think it went against some of the DB rules tho - maybe she was just playin by the rules.
