Gambling in Dodge City...already here!

Ok..I have a question. How come we have to have a ballot to approve gambling when it's already in Dodge...BEEN in Dodge and isn't going anywhere? In south Dodge they run horses and people gamble on them. A LOT of money changes had via betting. I wonder what law got passed that allows THIS to happen?

I feel that it's run illegally by illegals. Not only do they skip into our country illegally flaunting out laws all the way but then something like this is going on which is pretty much a slap in the face to the citizens. We are debating gambling, money is being spent to advertise it and it will be voted on...the horse track people on the other hand just said "f*ck the system" and run their horses. I wonder if they have ANY type of permit what so ever. Also I wonder if they sell beer down there on Sunday.

If I went to the track and observed gambling going on who would I call to turn it in...is there ANYONE that would give a SHIT? If not I think I'll open up a black jack table and a couple of slots out of my garage...

Of course this is just my opinion but I'm soon going to go out there on a Sunday and substantiate this stuff in person...

The owner of the track is not illegal. The track is for sale if you want to get in on the ground floor of this operation. Half a mil will take it off their hands.

So the owner is legal...Is there betting going on? If so I wonder if the IRS knows about it?

I have no idea, but a horse track without gambling is just a stupid concept. They want us to believe that in their culture it would be like us going to the car races. Big difference between the two in my eyes.

I would say because there is a sign on the front gate stating "No Gambling", no one in their right mind would dare bet at this Horse Track. You know from the Honest Illegals. </sarc with the oxymoron>

I've never been to the horse races. So, if they pass the gambling vote here, will they be able to then?

I could be wrong but, the bill that passed stated that Horse races could be an option only if a NEW horse track was built (I know I read that at one point in time). I think they passed slots only. But the wording has changed so much I don't think you will get a uniform answer. I also thinks thats the plan all along.
