These stories a just the drop in the bucket. As you review the articles, pay attention to the sentencing of the defendants and compare to this:

You can spend more time in prison by robbing a convenience store for $100 in chump change than by stealing the identities of several victims and racking up hundres of thousands in theft. Doing the math, the payoff is higher for stealing identities and the consequences are lower.

I have supplied the PD with enough information to arrest the perp today- now whether they will act on it is a different story. He has packages being delived to his fake PO box that he opened under my name in Deerfield Kansas. I have alerted the postmaster to call the police when he arrives as he will have to pick them up at the window because they will be to big for his PO Box.

If he does just get a slap on his sleazy wrist, how about putting his picture on tons of fliers around town, warning people he's a thief?
Maybe with a headline of "Sticky Fingers Warning."
And if he tries to stop you, that would make a good local news story. Right Quietly?

Have you also notified the postal inspection division (Postal Inspectors) about this? Anything involving mail fraud is also on their turf and their penalties are more harsh.

Daughter lived and had a business in Greensburg (self employed). State denied claim for unemployment for the same reason, (that OK understand it). Applied on the federal side (same as the State) but under their rules for disaster coverage. Found that some SCUM bag, had used her SSN on two different times to claim unemployment monies.
At first her claimed was denied, had to send letter of explaination. Fed's are now helping her out with disaster payments. (that's OK). Must of believed us.
Question is????? ( how do you find out from the FEDS, who, why, when, where did this happen). Some one had been using her ssn. Need ideas, please.

Seriously, you did some fabulous work. I do hope the GCPD/Finney County Attorney and the Postal Inspector will be tough on this one after you delivered it to them on a silver platter.

I hope so too but the possibility exists that 'they' will take it lightly because 'they' didn't do any heavy lifting.....

Seems to be the Deerfield Sheriff wanting this guy the most. That is where the guy opened a PO box and is having everything shipped. This is a quadruple felony now...and that's a big fish for Deerfield, KS.

1.) Felony Indetity theft (opened a Paypal account and post office box in my name)
2.) Felony forgery (signed my name to three packages & PO box app)
3) Mail Fraud -Federal offense (using the post offfice and mail system to commit other felonies)
4) Felony theft (defrauding four sellers on ebay, Robinson Oil, Pizza Hut and others out of more than 1500.00 worth of goods)

I talked to the sheriff today....and lets just say they are cleaning out an extra cell there. Garden City PD is also working the case- so dunno who will end up getting him.

I am amazed at the stupidity of this guy, but then again, he just messed with the wrong guy , he may have other victims and they just don't know it yet

without stepping over the line, the sheriff did indicate that the perp had a long history of this and that they had problems making things stick before. He seems delighted with all of the evidence I had provided him.
