I was a little reluctant to get excited at first wondering if the PD and the city/county attorney would understand what they were looking at with the documentation you provided.

I also wondered about posting what you did before an arrest was made.

Daughter lived and had a business in Greensburg (self employed). State denied claim for unemployment for the same reason, (that OK understand it). Applied on the federal side (same as the State) but under their rules for disaster coverage. Found that some SCUM bag, had used her SSN on two different times to claim unemployment monies.
At first her claimed was denied, had to send letter of explaination. Fed's are now helping her out with disaster payments. (that's OK). Must of believed us.
Question is????? ( how do you find out from the FEDS, who, why, when, where did this happen). Some one had been using her ssn. Need ideas, please.

Have her go to the social security administration and they can print out a list of places. Also, the IRS can possibly assist. The problem with the both of these agencies, they know that someone is using stolen identities but don't notify the victim.

Tee, you tracked down everything in an afternoon, and THEY had a hard time getting anything to stick before??? Geeeeez that is sad that you had to go through all that, and do their job for them. I sure hope THIS sticks. Good job you.

Did they get him yet? If so, did they cuff 'em and stuff 'em? (I love dukes of hazard!) Wouldn't it be great if as he was arrested he said "...and I would've gotten away with it too, if it weren't for you meddling kids!"

The culprit has been identified. A postal inspector called yesterday informaing that they are filing federal charges on top of the local charges.

THe Finny County Sheriffs dept did an excellent job at investigating and identifying the culprit.

THey guy kind of hung himself. When he went to pickup one of his packages at the post office and found a postcard in the post office box directing him to the front counter for a large package, he proceded to the counter where he was recognized by one of the staff. Of course I had already called them and notified them that he would be coming to pick up a package so they were on the lookout for him. They then called the police.

The police went to pay him a visit and upon approaching his home noticed that the hood was up on his pickup truck. Upon a closer look, they found that the carburetor and manifold were off- and there was a newly rebuilt Holley from eBay and an Eldobrock intake manifold just sitting there waiting to be put on.

Yesterday, they executed a search warrant of his home and seized his car parts, tools, computer, him, and everthing but the refrigerator.

So yes, the other Tim Trent is in jail and charged with multiple felonies. After the police are done with him the Postal Inspectors will have their chance at thim. It wont be a pretty site- they guy has a long history of theft and fraud so that is going to get him the max on the grid.
