And i thought the same thing about drinking and casino's. Can't drink in an indian casino, unless you sign up for a membership which takes something like 20 days to get approved. Then you can only drink in the bar area. If your just a visitor from out of town your SOL.

Alot of casinos have set up both smoking and non-smoking gaming areas in their facilities.

A casino without smoking just isn't natural. My favorite casino here in Phoenix is no smoking now, so now I have a new favorite.

Our city commissioners are back on the anti-smoking trail and a few of them were quoted in the globe as wanting the most restrictive law available.

Hint: they can't exclude our casino without lots of litigation.

I think you are onto something there Lurker..........
I was thinking it is odd that our commisioners are on the stop smoking ban again. I guess all those in favor of completely taking away an owners right to allow smoking in their private business can pat themselves on their rightious backs while the casino gets built in the county, eliminating alot of tax money coming into the city.

Up here, the casinos (at least one of them) have one nonsmoking floor out of 3 (I think) floors. But the nonsmoking floor doesn't have the best table games OR the best slots. But at least there's a place to hide form the smoke that seems to gather waist high at times.

I have seen non smoking areas but never a non smoking casino........... course I ain't seen all there is to see that's fer sure!

I feel a casino in close proximity to Boot Hill would be best for tourism but to keep it out of the hands of the anti-smoking Nazi's it may be best to put it in the county.

Maybe all the smokers should gather at the local Radio Shack entrance and have a "smoke in"!
