According to witnesses who originally reported the case to authorities, Kanneh allegedly repeatedly raped and sexually molested the girl, a relative. In a statement made by the girl to police, she said she had been told she'd be forced to stay in the apartment unless she had sex with Kanneh.

He just used our own laws against us. For example...I believe if an English speaking police officer stops a motorist that may speak some English but pulls the "I only speak Spanish" card then they have to wait for another po that speaks Spanish. The laws were written and people use them and the loopholes to get out of things.... It happens every day and it sucks.
