I think Bubba conducted an experiment to prove a point and his results probably solidfied what he was trying to prove...unfortunately.

You know Bubba...I thought for a new person (Sunny Beach) they really jumped in a posted a lot. I told another member that SB had to be someone that has been here before.

It's too bad that those who give NEG REP don't have to sign their name. That would be a good start. But we don't need to go into that all over again.

If DodgeBoard's about posting ideas, then post away and to your heart's content.

If DodgeBoard's about rep points, then post jokes and kiss-ass ......... alot.....

I don't see the need for any negative rep myself. If there were only positive rep, then it would be only given in a positive manner. Any negativity would thus not receive any positive rep, and it would take care of itself. It seems that the negative rep, which is never signed, only creates ill feelings!

Furthermore, everyone tends to get too carried away at times on here. However, remember that each one of us has different opinions on different subjects. That is what makes each one a unique person in their own right. Just because you don't agree, doesn't make anyone right or wrong! It is probably good to get things off of your chest periodically, then chill out! A lot cheaper than a shrink too!

Bubba my boy, I think you are letting things get to you a little bit. Of course, I don't know the reasons surrounding your disappearance and your reappearance, but I am sure that there is some reasoning and a story behind it. I enjoy interacting with members on this board, but I can guarantee you that it is not going to control my life, nor upset me that much either.

OK, boys and girls, now let's all play nice, and I will get off of my soapbox! Peace!

Rep points have their place. We can "yeah that", but only once per person until we've "yeah'ed that" to a couple of others first. We have also successfully used it to reduce someone's reps to a very, very negative number in order to get them knocked off the board. For that very reason, I'd hate to see them go away.
