You mean like: Back in the 60's we took "LCD". Now 40 years later, we have to go get a "Plasma" transfusion so we can work at Walmart???? ![]() ![]() |

| I'm definatley calling the 800 # at least once a week!!! The experience I had a few days was ridiculous and at my job if we were to put ppl through crap like that ... we'd be fired on the spot .. no explanations!! I've had alot of jobs in my life and I'm at the one now because I have managers that actually give a sh**.. .we pride ourselves on good customer service, complaints are normally handled on the spot and if not they are taken care of in a timely manner personally from the manager. The owner treats us well because he knows we do right by him. 3/4 of our regulars stay here because of the way they are treated... a few have told me they've gone else where because of a cheaper rate etc. but they always came back here because of the all around experience they have here ... customer service, cleanliness, caring people in general.. We have several meetings a year on customer service (all aspects of it) and they've all been a tremendous help in dealing w/ the wide variety of guests we have. I can understand everyone has their bad days and throw around the occasional attitude, but realize when you're working, every customer that walks through the door is the reason you have a paycheck.. the better you treat them the better they'll treat you.

| Wal Mart Wal Mart has become like our city, dirty and trashed out by a group of people who could care less about this city, or any city in this country at all. The concept of putting trash in a trash container is as foreign to this group as they are foreign to this country. Plus, they just don't give a crap about anything or anyone who is from this country. These people have no respect for anyone or anything in this country, only what they can get by what ever means is necessary from us. One example of how different they are when it comes to sanitary issues is very plain when one can just look in a parking lot, of any street and find a dirty diaper laying all over the place. They enter this country illegally and they bring with them the diseases that have not been present here for some time. Yet they don't seem to care covering their mouths when in a store and cough continuously when people are behind them, spreading airborne diseases such as TB and many other diseases of the lungs. Fruits and veggies are checked more aggressively than anyone of them who do not go to the doctor at all. They come here with full knowledge of what they are carrying and knowing how contagious they are, and don't give a crap at all. It also amazes me how they do not seem to know about our simple technology such as bathrooms here. My son had a friend of his come over to our home with a hispanic male. This hispanic male wanted to use our restroom, yet if I had known what a shock I was in for, I would not have let him in our home. Those who have a weak stomach might not want to read this as it could make them ill! After he came out of our bathroom, I had to use it. I went in and the smell that met me almost made me upchuck. The smell was as if his "number two" was done on the floor! I looked around and to my utter amazement I found the problem. All around and in the trash receptacle we had there, was toilet paper with his fecal matter in large amounts on them. I went back into our living room and asked him why he had done this. He looked at me and said that this is how "they" did this. He said that they never put the paper in the toilet as this might clog it up. After a few minutes of trying to breath, I informed him that in this country, we put it in the toilet. And, I told him to go back in there and pick it all up and put it into the toilet, and FLUSH it. I informed him that here, when done we also FLUSHED the toilet as no one in this country wanted to gaze upon his turds floating around as this is a cleanliness issue. After I made him clean up his mess, he came out and informed all of us as to how "RUDE" we treated him and how we had "dishonored" him. And, that because of this, he would see us again very soon! I informed him to come back very soon, as I had not killed any one in a long time for just being a puke and had a quota to meet! He left uttering some mexican crap which I am quite sure were cuss words. Most if not all of them have no respect for us, or our customs at all. I.N.S. needs to come here and other cities around us, and clean house. If they need help, I am sure that many of us would volunteer to help in any way that we could! Just another wonderful day in "mexicanville"! Maybe there won't be many more of them! |

You are right, I too hate it when people utter of some redneck crap or when blacks utter some ebonics crap as well. Don't even get me started on the Canadians. Eh...seriously who ends thier sentences like that anyway. They should all take an English class but it has to be an Americanized English class and none of this Queens English mumbo jumbo. ![]() |

| I am a loyal HyVee shopper. They are employee owned store and it shows. If you can't find something - they take you to it, right away. They stop whatever they are doing and go. They also don't chit-chat a lot with each other. It is a very friendly store, but they are always working. Cleaning, straightening, stocking shelves, etc. High School and college kids come back and work summers and Christmas break for years. The managers even sack groceries when it is busy - and call me by name. Our WalMart is a pretty good store too. It is just a regular Wal-Mart, but the Super WalMart is slated to open in about 6 months. I will still grocery shop at Hy Vee. My local Wal-Mart has had the same core group of employees as long as I can remember. They are friendly and the store is clean. Gets a bit overwhelming at Christmas though. They really pack the stuff in - who buys all that crap? I have to say - I don't miss good old Dodge much. It has seen better days. I hope it can rebound, but I am really glad I am not raising a family there. I loved Dodge when I lived there - grew up in the area. But after leaving and coming back, whew! It just has lost all of its shine. |
