| Victory Electric-Are you up to doing this? Victory Electric's Home Page Try this site and note how little attention is being given to this site. Want to pay your bill on line? That can get a little tricky and will take more time than it should. I have also noted that since my electric became the responsiblilty of Victory that I have more blackouts. Power just goes out for no reason of any kind that I can see such as bad weather, high winds and so forth. I am wondering what is in store for all of us now that Victory Electric has so much more of an area to care for. If they can't keep their website neat, clean and working, how are they going to take care of the power we need? |

| Come on! You have to be kidding me about the web page issue? yeah I agree it seems a little bit cluttered but it is filled with a lot of great info that is relative to us in this area. And are you telling me you enjoyed paying online to Aquila with that online Easy Pay BS? Victory's is heads and tails better than Aquila's online pay.

| I had a big problem with Victory Electric about 2 months back. After the changeover from Aquila I didn't get a bill for electricity for 3 months. I called Victory at least 3 times during this period, saying I know electricity isn't free! I even talked to 2 people who came to read the meter, asking them when I would get a bill - nothing. Then one day the power goes out. I call Victory and they tell me it has been cut off for "unpaid bills". Well, of course, I was furious. I went to their offices on north north 14th and had it out with them. They had been sending bills for this house to an old address of mine, an address from 4 years ago in fact. Anyway, $400 and 2 hours later they turned it back on. Aside from that, the only other time that I can remember the power being out for a substantial amount of time was that night a few Thursday's ago when we had 6 inches of rain in about 30 minutes. The whole neighborhood was flooded (I live in the Kliesen Hills sub division) and the storm drains couldn't cope, so it was understandable that we were without power for 7 hours.

It usually works fine. Today is Sunday, are you working? They aren't working at the office here on Sunday, they probably don't even know there is a problem. They will probably fix it after they come in to work in the morning. Give them a break! My power has been fine at my house and my bill has been less than it was when it was Aquila. Also, with the extra area they picked up they also picked up all the line crew that used to work for Aquila so there isn't any difference in that area.

| I haven't had any power outages and I love paying on line with Victory. I paid mine this morning without any trouble.

| Maybe it's my OS (Vista) but I have never been able to pay online. When I go to the link the page does not display. And while I do realize (bubba) that today is Sunday and they aren't all physically there, I do not expect them to disable their site because it is Sunday. Now that's just stupid! The whole purpose of a website is for 24 hr convenience. If it was only up 8-5 weekdays ....well...that's retarded! I emailed Terry and Sandy some time back about the website not working for me and the links in their emails being truncated and well....they never got back with me. I like Victory's service- the last time I had an owl fry on my transformer they got here in under 10 minutes. If I ever need backup in a hurry, I am calling them instead of the cops. I do think though that their site leaves much to be desired! It lacks uniformity on it's pages, allows no fluidity for resolutions above 640x480, has horrible graphics and is not very intuitive. Looks like a high school kid created the page. blatant website fopaux: count how many different combinations of font colors/styles/sizes on the main page....at least forty. The graphics look like they were created at a low resolution and then stretched. Everything is out of alignment. Hit counters for businesses look cheesy, especially the free ones. What the heck is that yellow man on the right side. Why is the company logo under the flag instead of in the upper center of the page? White inside of brown, yuk. Get rid of the man on the pole. Each page is totally different and some are even designed at other resolutions. The site should flow seamlessly from one page to another, not appear like an entirely different site when you click on a page. Just throw the whole thing away and start over. As a member, I'll pay my share ($.01) of the 200-300 it would cost to have it professionally done. After all, it's representing a very professional company isn't it? That's my opinion and I'm stickin to it.
