My wait time is no more than 5-15 minutes, she gives me samples of everything (when available) and usually gives me other alternatives for the problem instead of immediately prescribing me something. (i.e crackers in the mornings instead of pills for my morning sickness) I like that she gives me options about things instead of just trieng to slam pills and quick fixes down my throat!! She ASKS me what I prefer after explaining everything whether it be about my son or me.

I know she's good at what she does, but it's just the whole "group practice" thing that irks me. My doctor I had in Liberal did EVERY delivery of his patients, he was an awesome doctor with years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology. I guess I just got spoiled with him.

| You gotta understand that though sh** happens, they can't forecast when you're going into labor to ensure they will be there. Dr's have days off etc too. She won't be there for mine since I'm having a planned c-section (can't have natural) , but she gave me choices as to who could do it and gave me the pros and cons to all of them and let me decide who I wanted.

| All the ob-gyn's do c-sections, and they are performed at the women's center. The women's center is the shining star of the WPMC. They get high scores on all surveys and patient satisfaction surveys. You will be in good hands. I had my son there and we couldn't have been happier with the care of the nurses and O.R. staff.

| Birth Day! My daughter had her child at the womens center and was scared to death. She need not be! They are on the ball over there and gave her great treatment. They were prepared for anything. My daughter tried to go without the epi, but after the first BIG pain hit, she called for one. They were right there and gave it to her without any trouble at all. She had a good birth and would go back if she ever gets pregnant again. Don't worry, they are very good there. Hope this helps you! God Bless, Craigb |

| I like to bitch and complain a lot but if I HAD to find something to say negative about the womens center I couldn't find it. SUPER SUPER service. We were so pleased with the nursing staff and their helpfulness that we sent them a card and flowers thanking them after we left.

| I'm going to throw out the American Idol answers because that selection was for the people who are...well....American Idol fans... Notice in the pole that virtually have of those polled said healthcare is someone else's responsibility and not their own. This is a pretty conservative leaning board I would say and the fact that 1/2 of the people here think that is interesting. Nationwide I'm sure this poll would show a larger number for someone providing their healthcare. Would it bother people to pay more in taxes to have everyone covered?
