Yup, I heard about a guy that got laid off after working there something like 23 years. He had no idea it was coming until they told him he was done.

The rumors about them trimming down their accounting and office staff at the Dodge City plant are true. I know because my wife is one of those who has been told that by this time next year her job will no longer exist.

I doubt if the guy is going to be "replaced" by a new import worker. Someone probably deemed his job unnecessary anymore and they laid him off. Did he get any compensation or anything?

The one's that I know are local CITIZENS that have lived in DC most or all of their life. Plus, they are in positions that you don't "just eliminate"! Sounds like "Dad's getting hosed"!!
