| Walmart Visit I heard the Regional VP from Bentonville visited the Walmart in Dodge yesterday. One of the guys was in regular clothes and caught some of the employees doing their usual crap. I guess they found the store was dirty, disorganized and such. I wonder if he came down because of all the complaints? I guess we'll see if something gets fixed.

| LOL LOL Just because they showed up does NOT mean they "care". They will probably clean up their act for a little while and then when they feel safe again it will all go to pot. Although I do think it would be nice if they did a overhaul of their employees and management and got people in there that wanted their jobs and cared about their jobs and about walmart. Since it is all we have around here, it would be nice to not be embarassed by how "our" store looks and how people are treated. |

| I just talked to a guy that works at Walmart about the visit by the people from Arkansas. I haven't verified it yet but he said the manager Mr Ostram got relieved from his responsibilities and will be moving to the new Guymon store. They have a new manager coming in here now just out of the "Walmart Institute" management training school. She is 29 years old. He said on the inspection they scored a whopping 36 out of a possible 100. The only store rated lower than Dodge was Liberal. (Imagine that) I guess she's in the process of moving and starts around the 1st of the year. I would invite everyone here to ask for her when they go to Walmart and introduce themselves, tell her that you are glad there is new management and voice your issues. New management usually wants to hear from people so let them hear from YOU.

| We usually get the people from Walmart here... Ostrom used to stay here all the time, I'll have to keep an eye out to see if anyone is coming in here pretty soon. That's a good idea to meet the new mgr. although I'm sure she knows what the issues are before she gets here, she might appreciate more input as to how to better things, or the conerns we have so she knows what areas to focus on more or first.
