There is no "money" to follow, that's just a simplistic statment to try to convince everyone there's some kind of conspiracy. We have these problems because of our tolerance of illegals and soft licensing and exam regulations by the State. We need to get over everything being a conspiracy and recommend workable solutions.

Does "workable" mean we bow to the illegals here and the $$ of the packing plants and those that protect their workers or does "workable" mean we the citizens get tougher laws and safer streets by making tougher penalties on those that drive without having a license and insurance? There isn't a "workable plan" because no one has came up with and implemented a plan. That's where LEADERSHIP comes in. The commissioners have received many calls and such supporting the implementation of tougher standards from the people they represent but have done nothing more than "looking into it". Leaders act and they act quickly and decisively.

| If you took a poll or survey of the voting/tax paying citizens in Dodge City I believe their number one concern in this town would be illegal immigration and gangs. What has been done by our illustrious commissioners to improve the situation with either of these? I can't WAIT to vote this spring.

| OK! Now where does it say I said it doesnt belong in this thread? Where? I dont see it anywhere on here. The thread WAS "what are some parents thinking....." not "what are drivers doing out there with out insurance hitting people who arent thinking what they are doing or putting themsleves and their child in danger" thread Sure insurance matters but you never answered my question. Since you are so stuck on unisured drivers "Whos fault is it when a parent removes their child in the street instead of on the curb?" What I want to know is why would you endanger yourself and your childs life? Ther world is full of uninsured drivers and no DL drivers so since we know that and the whole place knows YOU know that, in reference to the original subject , why put yourself out there to be a victim? |
