Mike is having to do a lot of work at the old Peppercorns to get it cleaned up. Liebl let it get pretty run down. I hope it is good when it re-opens. l

Not making excuses, but I don't think any of our restaurants were ready for Friday night.

We went to Montana Mikes with Tee and some others and waited an hour to be seated. While standing at the door we met numerous others trying to get in that told us it was the same all over town.

I don't think anyone could deny that fact that Willie brought a lot of money to dodge.

In the future, maybe the the visitor & convention office or the chamber of commerce or somebody could call all restaraunt management about a week in advance and remind them of the event that is scheduled and the amount of people expected for the event and remind the managers to schedule accordingly to make it smoother on everybody and maybe help Dodge City look a little better in the eyes of out-of-town visitors that made a special trip.

I heard that people from Hays, Salina and Manhattan even came down to the concert. Did anybody else hear that?

I know people came from Oklahoma.

On a side note. I didn't like the idea that Montana Mikes now add a 15% tip on your bill. I always tip, but I tip according to service.

It wouldn't do any good Bubba. They all knew that Pheasant season would bring an influx of hunters too, but it was the same old thing around town. Nobody gives a crap! Then they wonder why they have no business and have to close up!

We were staffed and ready to push as much food as we could, we tried to push through our waitlist as quickly as possible.

I think it's a managers responsibility to know what's going on in the area when they do the scheduling. I have to keep up with any events going on in the area that I may want to be at...I don't depend on them to come to me.

I wouldn't take a dump at Bad Habits let alone eat there. Her kids don't even like her LOL!
