I don't think anyone could deny that fact that Willie brought a lot of money to dodge.

Our longest wait was right around 25 to 30 minutes. I'd say we got most in before their actual quote time. What I don't understand is some folks (not many, just a couple) got pretty upset that we were on a wait to begin with.

DodgeMikey, people aren't used to waiting much in Dodge. How is your wait staff generally treated here? I think it is funny that so many people complain about the service industry in Dodge but many of them are probably not good customers either. I've seen people treat wait staff so horribly there. If you want good staff to stay then you have to at least be nice. It is a bit of a give and take.

That may have been the case. There was 15 of us. But while we did come as a group, we all ordered and paid separately.

I will say that the service was great, once seated, and the food was great as usual.

My point is I don't think anyone could deny that this concert spread a lot of money around town.

Where's my share???
You would think that with all that money coming in to restaurants and such, that we could have a decent few in town?

Are you sure that they do that to every bill or just on bills where the server has to wait on a larger party, like six or more people? I know it is usually standard practice to automatically add a gratuity for larger parties being served at many eating establishments.

Nevermind. I saw after posting this that somebody else said pretty much the same thing.....

I agree detector. That places was packed and as we drove down Wyatt Earp enroute to Cowtown it seemed EVERY business (even the fast food joints) was packed.

I made reservations at Cowtown for 6 pm or we wouldn't have gotten a seat. It definitely had to stimulate the economy some. I wonder how many out of towners stayed at our hotels.

That's BS! We got there at 6:02 and were seated at 6:58. Many people who had arrived later were seated sooner than us because we were a large party (20) and more difficult to find the room. When we opted not to seat together because of the long wait for tables all in one spot (to put together) we were then seated. There were 3 of us at one table, 5 at another, and 12 at the large table. None of us were close enough to talk to any of the others.

Still all three tables, even the ones with 3 and 5 got charged the 15% gratuity. We all had seperate checks and experienced no benefits of being together. Why would we get charged like a large party?

It took us 27 minutes to finally get our food which left us about 10 minutes to eat and still make Willie. While the food was fine for me. It was not a fun dining experience - AT ALL.

Tee, with all due respect, I'm pretty sure DodgeMikey is not Montana Mikey. Which, according to Detector is where you ate.
