Yes they do!!!! The person we bought the bike from almost got ran over a couple times before he put the new pipes on because people just don't pay attention...

my uncle was hit last year was in a coma for 2 weeks and now walks with a cane and he cant hardly tie his shoes. If his bike would have been load he may not have been hit.

I don't know what Harley's you have seen, by mine isn't a POS. It is a 2006 with a little over 10000 miles and never a problem.

Yup ours either! It's a great bike hubby just wants a cruiser instead of a sportster! Anything can be a POS if it's not taken care of, it's all in the owner!

Like I said... if you want to turn gas into noise without the nasty side effect of horsepower... ride a harley.

I guess straight lines are OK on them and they DO look good on trailers and in the back of a pickup truck.

safety gear is a plus but it wasn't his fault he was hit, obviously by the post the other driver wasn't paying attention...
