Saddam had every chance in the world and about 1000 United Nation resolutions that he violated. His ego or whatever got in the way of him being a civilized human being...so he had to go. Where is he now? LOL

... and where is the US & the UK now? Immersed in a bloody drawn out ethnic/tribal/religious conflict that will last for years and absorb many more billions of dollars/pounds and many many more deaths - is that success?

I have every respect for the brave men and women serving on our armed forces but I have none for the lying politicians who sent them there - did Bush, Blair or Brown ever serve in their respective armed forces?

All I can say is that at least your President gave a straight forward reason for going in, "regime change" - although on the criteria set out North Korea should have come first, but of course they've actually got WMD! The learning point for any dictator must be, get some serious WMD, and the chances of being invaded fall significantly.

Our Prime Minister, Tony Blair, (often referred to as Tony B Liar), lied to the British people as to why we should go to war. He said that Saddam actually had WMD, produced an M16 intelligence report that backed the claim up, (later proved to be a tissue of lies), and even more frightening he went on to say that Saddam could deploy WMD in a mere 45 minutes!

Blair and Scarlett told me Iraq had no usable weapons

This is the most extraordinary failure in the history of British intelligence
