I don't agree, nor disagree with your point of view. To be bluntly honest, I have almost zero knowledge of this case. I was kinda busy when all this came up. But I am calling on the Admin to close this thread because its turned kinda 3rd grade-ish with the whole "I'm smarter than you" kinda vibe going on here. We're all aware of your feelings on the matter, and I am sure you are aware of ours. So lets all just agree to disagree and let it go. For the last time, the facts as I know them are: Defendant ADMITED GUILT, and jury found him GUILTY. No amount of debate is going to change those facts.

I think this sets a bad precedent closing a thread based on these reasons. I agree that they are repeating themselves and this is going in circles, but people should be free to express their disagreement with a verdict. That's why judges are subject to recall/election.

Although I don't have a horse in this race, I'm with Banyon on this one. If you don't like what's being said/written, don't click on the thread.

I think Sgt. T is just trying get this thread closed so it doesn't turn to a match of insults because each side feels very strongly about it and i've seen many-a-threads end up that way.

Like Banyon said, Those that don't want to read it should just skip over it and those of us that are reading it, can. And those whose viewpoint is in the minority can continue to rant.

I think threads where the posters are hurling insults or posting defamatory or personally identifiable information about other posters have their place in the thread graveyard. This is not the case with this thread and we should err on the side of "freedom of speech" and not follow our predecessor (Dodgecitytalk.com) in over-administering the threads.
