Compare this even with the people of new orleans for a contrast and comparison. The good people of Greensburg lost 90% of their town. About a year later the President came to visit and they honored him by having the PGR out there and such. The people of Greensburg have had some help from the gov't (as they should) but have pretty much told the gov't to get the hell out of the way and are rebuilding, moving on and such...

ON the other hand you have the cockroaches in New Orleans. They had their hand out BEFORE Hurricane Katrina, and still have their hands out looking for someone to take care of them. This is ONE of the many reasons the midwest is without a doubt the best place to live.
