I think the numbers from Carolina, in my opinion, are actually going to hurt BO.
It is kind of like the OJ situation.............

If 90% of the black voters picked BO, you cannot overlook that it is because he is black. Not because he is the better candidate, but because of his color. Now while within the Dem ranks that may not mean a whole lot, come November it will because that kind of biased thinking is going to be brought front and center. There are more white voters than black, and they will not like having that ran down their throats.

I would hope, in 2008, that you are incorrect. Unfortunately, I do believe that there are older, white, racist folks that will do exactly what you are saying. I think it will be a say day in this Country when Americans do not vote for a candidate simply because of the color of their skin. If he's not the best candidate.......so be it. But to do that simply because he is not white is a terrible thing.......We are better than that. I would hope that we've learned our lesson on racism........
