One does not have to look far too see the trash! Just take a drive around Dodge City and you will see all the trash one would want to see! And "STILL", nothing is being done! Business as usual! And as usual, city, county, state and federal governments just look the other way! As if NOTHING is happening at all! How convenient! How terrible and wrong! When those elected to office, look the other way, that only allows more criminals to enter the United States illegally! How "INSANE"! How totally UNJUST this is to the citizens of this country! When our elected officials stop caring about "OUR RIGHTS AND FREEDOM", then it is very obvious that protecting these and us, seems to be out of the question! This is a very real injustice to all citizens of this country! I wonder how soon it will be before we see this corrected? I for one, won't hold my breath!

I know Deb with CREW has been making her community service people go around town and pick up trash, but it doesn't help when as soon as they walk away, the neighborhood people trash it back up. She was saying they were working really hard on the east side of town trying to get it cleaned up, but as usual they don't care and make it look trashy as soon as they leave... GRRRRR! Sorry had to rant for a bit!

Why don't they round up the illegal immigrants, give them each a good thrashing with a cat o' nine tails, put them in chain gangs and get them to clear up the mess on rations of bread & water. That'll soon sort out the problem on both issues.

On a serious note....and my opinion only here

Because the illegal population have no "roots" within the community, they do not have a vested interest in the community. This is not "home", it is a temporary respite at best. They are here only because the job is here. They feel no need to assimilate, they feel no need to become involved with the community. If the packing plants closed, they would just move on to the next stop. Look at the neighborhoods that have people, all races, who have roots or a vested interest. Did you know that Mexican banks give loans to people from Mexico, no questions asked, as long as they can show they have an income? This explains how so many can get the money to purchase the items they do. It is a community within a community.

I'm just wondering if ALL the trash you talk about comes from illegals and if not how do you tell the difference from illegal trash and legal trash?

Well, see, the good people of DodgeBoard would enlist to do just that, but the powers-that-be would see that as cruel and unusual punishment and put the good people of DodgeBoard in jail!
